Kıbrıs Türk Kültür Derneği’nin, Yunus Emre Anadolu Kız Meslek Lisesi ve Meslek Lisesi ile ortaklaşa düzenlediği 2008-2009 öğretim yılı el beceri kursları sona ermiştir. Yıl sonu nedeniyle düzenlenen sergi, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti Ankara Büyükelçisi Namık Korhan, Müsteşar Hüsnü Duba, dernek üyeleri ve konukların katılımı ile açıldı.
Serginin açılışında konuşan Kıbrıs Türk Kültür Derneği Genel Başkanı Ahmet Göksan Kıbrıs’ta yaşanan güncel gelişmelere de değinmiştir. Genel Başkan Göksan’ın konuşmasının geniş bir özetini sunuyoruz.
Sevgili konuklar, Sevgili Üyelerimiz,
“Yunus Emre Anadolu Kız Meslek Lisesi ve Kız Meslek Lisesi ile birlikte gerçekleştirdiğimiz el beceri kurslarının 2008 - 2009 dönemi sona ermiştir. Bir öğretim yılı boyunca kurslara katılan hanımlar geçtiğimiz dönemlerde de olduğu gibi hünerlerini ve becerilerini ortaya koydular.
Hanımların büyük bir özveri ile yaptıkları eserlerini sergilemekte bizlere düşmektedir. Zamanınızı ayırarak bu güzel açılışa katıldığınız için sizlere şahsım, yönetim ve denetim kurulu üyesi arkadaşlarım adına selamlamak ve teşekkür etmek istiyorum.
Yine bu dönem içinde görevlerini özveri ile yapan öğretmenlerimize ve okul yönetimine de teşekkür etmeyi yerine getirilmesi gereken bir görev olarak aldığımı söylemek istiyorum.
Yuvayı yapan dişi kuşlar gibi öğrenmek aşkı ile kurslarımıza katılan hanımlara da teşekkürlerimizi ve sevgilerimizi sunuyoruz. Onların yaptıkları çalışmalar sonrasında bu sergiyi açtığımızın da bilinmesi gerektiğini vurgulamak istiyorum.
Sizlerin bir öğretim yılı boyunca, olanaksız gibi görünenleri başarmanın huzuru içinde olduğunuza da inanıyorum. Konuklarımız da sizlerin bu sevincine ortak olabilmek için katıldıklarını da bilmeniz gerekiyor.
Kıbrıs Türk Kültür Derneği, siyasi amaçlı bir kuruluş değildir. Kültürel etkinlikler yapmak amacı ile kurulduğunu da anımsatmak istiyoruz. Bir ülkenin veya toplumun kültürünü yaşatmanın da bir siyasi hareketi gerektirdiğinin de bilincindeyiz. Bu nedenle kültür ile siyaseti bir birinden ayırmak olanaksızdır.
Dernek, kurulduğu 1948 yılından günümüze dek, Kıbrıs Türk kültürünün yaşatılması için unutulmaz katkılar yapmıştır. Kültürün yaşayabilmesi için adada bir Türk varlığının da olması gerekiyordu.
Yeri ve zamanı geldiğinde yönetici olan büyüklerimiz sorumluluklarının bilincinde olarak gereğini büyük bir onurla yerine getirmişlerdir. Onları da en içten sevgi ve saygı ile anmak istiyoruz.
Günümüzde de adada çözüm ve barış adına görüşmeler yapılmaktadır. Bu görüşmelerde siyasi konular öncelikli olarak ele alınmaktadır. Toprak konusu ise görmezden geliniyor. Toprak konusunun birincil önceliğe sahip olduğunun altını kalın çizgilerle çiziyoruz.
Toprağınız yoksa kültürünüzü de yaşatma şansının hiçbir ulusa, kişiye ve topluluğa verilmediği de biliniyor. Tarihsel süreçte toprağı olmadan ayakta kalmış hiçbir ulusun ve topluluğun olmadığının da unutulmaması gerekiyor.
Geldiğimiz noktada, toprak konusunun öncelikle çözülmesi gerektiğini vurgulamak istiyoruz.
Burada yaşamsal önemde gördüğümüz bir hususu da sizlerle paylaşmak istiyoruz. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ile Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti’nin sınırları Anadolu’nun fidanlarının kanları ile çizilmiştir. K anla çizilen bu sınırları ortadan kaldırmanın ve bu toprakları geri alabilmenin koşullarını sizlerde çok iyi biliyorsunuz.
Bu nedenle görüşmelerle Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti’ni ortadan kaldırmak isteyenlere hoş görü ile bakmayacağımızın bilinmesi gerekiyor.
